Job summary

Scanscape is seeking part-time Retail Scan Associates to conduct in-store data collections at local retailers on a weekly basis for 52 weeks, including holiday periods. You will scan barcodes using a mobile app across grocery, convenience, drug, and other stores for major brands and retailers.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and having reliable Wi‑Fi. Hours are flexible and scheduled per store, with additional paid travel and 401(k) eligibility potential.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Able to endure being on your feet for long periods, and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Must have reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-store data collection at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks.
• Use a downloadable app on a mobile phone to scan barcodes in multiple store locations.
• Complete weekly scanning tasks and provide counts for about 45% of scanned products when required.
• Meet weekly deadlines and assist with Custom Projects that may add 1–2 hours per store during busy weeks.
