Job summary

Scanscape is hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to visit local grocery, drug, and mass merchandise stores and scan product barcodes using a mobile app. You will gather data weekly, across multiple store types, to help improve retailer performance.

The role offers independence, a flexible schedule, and the potential for ongoing projects throughout the year, with physical requirements including standing and light lifting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid drivers license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to endure being on your feet for long periods while accessing products throughout the store.
• Ability to lift to 25 pounds, reach 6 feet in the air, and bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter with reliable Wi-Fi and tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes.
• Use a mobile app to record barcode data across store locations.
• Perform in-store scanning for 52 weeks a year, including holidays.
• Work with major retailers and various store types.
• Complete display scanning and data collection as required.
