Scanscapeusa is hiring a part-time Retail Scan Associate in Decatur, IL. You will visit local stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and aisles using a mobile app, collecting data to help retailers improve sales.

The role offers flexible hours (about 7-10 hours per week), on-site work, and a straightforward data-collection workflow. A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and basic tech skills are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance.
• Stand on feet for long periods and access products throughout store.
• Can lift up to 25 pounds and reach 6 feet.
• Can perform repetitive movements with hands and legs.
• Detail oriented and work independently.
• Deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi‑Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit designated stores weekly to scan product barcodes on displays and aisles.
• Use a mobile app to scan barcodes across store locations.
• Provide quantity for about 45% of scanned products.
• Complete in-store data collection across grocery, convenience, drug, and mass merchandise stores.
• Meet weekly deadlines and deliver data to clients.
• Participate in custom projects that add 30 minutes to 2 hours per store.
