Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. seeks a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist patients in their homes with daily living activities and personal care following an approved care plan. You will perform baths, mobility support, and Fundamental tasks to ensure comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include monitoring vitals as directed, documenting observations, and communicating with the supervising nurse. Part-time hours with flexible scheduling and competitive pay offered.

Qualifications

• Meets training requirements per state and federal laws.
• Reads and follows written instructions and documents care.
• Current CPR certification required.
• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Completes Maxim competency program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with plan of care (baths, hygiene, dressing, feeding).
• Take and record temperatures, pulse, respiration, and BP when ordered.
• Support safe transfers, ambulation, and range of motion exercises.
• Perform extensional therapies as ordered and document progress.
• Handle patient laundry and safety practices at home.
• Observe patient condition, report changes to supervising nurse.
• Communicate clearly with client, family, and office.
