Job summary

Vocational Training Center in Fargo, ND is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to provide active support in clients\' homes and community settings. Responsibilities include helping with health maintenance, medications, personal care, behavior management, and life skills development.

You will accompany individuals to events, assist with daily living tasks, and document progress per the plan. Training is provided; multiple shifts are available, including mornings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Accompany individuals to community and social events.
• Assist individuals with personal care responsibilities and medications as needed; provide transportation.
• Supervise and guide adults with disabilities in home, community, and social settings.
• Document information per the Person-Centered Service Plan.
• Maintain flexibility and composure working alone or in a team.
• Assist/teach daily living skills (household chores, laundry, cleaning, dishes).
• Complete competency-based modules as required by North Dakota DP/DD division.
