Job summary

NWM Risk Management is seeking a Construction Inspector in Ontario, NY for a contract role. You will visit residential sites, photograph progress, and upload images via our mobile app. This is a flexible, part-time, 1099 contracting opportunity with no report writing required.

Work is local to Ontario, NY, with inspections assigned as needed and a typical 24–48 hour turnaround. A vehicle, smartphone/tablet compatible with the Pruvan app, and basic construction knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; all are welcome.
• Inspections scheduled as needed with 24–48 hours notice and ~48 hours turn time.
• Reliable transportation to inspection sites is required.
• Smartphone or tablet with the Pruvan app, within 5 years of age, is required.
• Basic knowledge of residential construction is a plus.
• PPE: closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a safety vest.

Responsibilities

• Visit residential construction sites (single-family homes, townhomes, apartments, condos).
• Take interior and exterior photos to document progress via the app.
• Submit photos through the app for the report-writing team.
• Communicate availability and scheduling needs promptly.
• Complete inspections within 24–48 hours of assignment.
