Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Perimeter Observation in Jacksonville, FL. This role offers flexible, reliable hours with fixed anchor shifts and the option to pick up extra shifts to increase earnings.

Pay rate is $18.00 per hour with a schedule that includes days, evenings, and weekends. The position requires an armed guard card preferred, strong customer service, and readiness for security duties at financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Armed security experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be at least 21 for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to members, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Maintain assigned equipment and complete accurate activity, incident, and patrol documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
