Job summary

iCook After School is seeking an energetic instructor to lead after-school cooking and STEAM sessions for K‑4 students. You’ll deliver engaging lessons on nutrition, introduce basic kitchen skills, and help kids explore healthy foods and cultures.

Classes run 2–5pm, Monday through Friday, with pay per class. A flexible, part‑time schedule and reimbursement for groceries are offered; travel to local schools is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with large groups of children in educational settings.
• Passion for teaching, cooking and nutrition.
• Strong classroom management and reliability.
• Punctual and able to consistently arrive on time.
• Reliable transportation to various school sites.
• Interest in cooking, food cultures and experiments.

Responsibilities

• Lead after school cooking/STEAM classes for K-4 students.
• Teach provided lesson plans on nutrition and healthy eating.
• Introduce basic cutting, measuring, food safety and related concepts.
• Purchase groceries for classes (reimbursed separately).
