Job summary

iCook/ iSTEAM After School seeks passionate instructors to run hands-on cooking and STEAM sessions for elementary students (K-4). You will deliver lesson plans, foster curiosity about foods and cultures, and maintain a lively classroom environment.

Classes run afternoons 2-5pm, up to five per week, with pay per class ($60 with a co-instructor; $80 solo). Prior experience with kids and reliable transportation are important; training and groceries are reimbursed as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience engaging groups of kids in dynamic activities.
• Ability to teach nutrition and cooking concepts safely.
• Punctual, reliable and able to manage a classroom.

Responsibilities

• Lead after-school cooking/STEAM classes for K-4 students.
• Teach nutrition and healthy eating concepts using provided plans.
• Introduce kids to basic kitchen safety and hygiene.
• Purchase groceries for classes (reimbursed separately).
