Job summary

WellSpan Health in Lewisburg, PA seeks a part-time Physical Therapist (Outpatient) with a day shift to support our rehabilitation team.

The role delivers PT services to patients from entry to intermediate levels, plans individualized programs, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team using SBAR communication and evidence-based practices. Licensing and BLS are required at hire.

Flexibility with schedule, PRN as needed, and opportunities to supervise PTAs are included as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or equivalent mandatory.
• Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist and BLS certification at hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient using PT assessment methods and tests.
• Plans individualized PT programs including exercises and modalities.
• Directs and supervises patient in therapeutic activities and training.
• Provides patient instruction for home program continuation.
• Coordinates with interdisciplinary team to achieve goals.
• Trains staff in PT techniques and safety procedures.
