Job summary

Elios, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a contract position onsite. You will perform comprehensive 45-minute evaluations for adult patients in an outpatient setting, with time to address complex health concerns and thorough documentation.

The role offers flexibility in scheduling (1 day per week to full time, 32–40 hours weekly) and avoids high-volume quotas, with competitive compensation and solid benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• 2+ years of experience with adult assessment and clinical documentation skills.
• Experience with medically complex adult populations preferred.
• Comfortable working independently within a multidisciplinary care setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive 45-minute evaluations with adult patients.
• Assess chronic medical conditions, musculoskeletal complaints, and functional limitations.
• Evaluate anxiety, depression, and stress-related symptoms as part of whole-person care.
• Manage general primary care and internal medicine related concerns.
• Produce clear, thorough clinical documentation.
• Practice independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Set a schedule that works for you, from 1 day per week up to full time (32–40 hours weekly).
