Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Anna, TX seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist for a flexible/PRN role from evaluation to discharge. You will deliver in-person 1:1 therapy with indirect support from home for documentation and coordination.

You will work autonomously within a collaborative team, conducting evaluations, developing plans, and guiding patients through real-life activities at home, school, work, and community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current, unrestricted OT license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR Certification.
• A minimum of one year’s OT experience.
• Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques for complex neurological diagnoses preferred.
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds; moving/transferring up to 100 pounds with safety.
• Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and standing/walking for extended periods.
• Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and positioning frequently.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and participate in staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and outcomes.
