Job summary

Human Touch Home Health is actively hiring Occupational Therapists for full-time, part-time, and PRN home health opportunities in Upper Marlboro and Southern Prince George’s County. Work in patients’ homes to help them regain independence and daily functioning, with one-on-one care and supportive clinical leadership.

We offer flexible scheduling, mileage reimbursement, and coverage areas of your choice, plus medical/dental/vision for eligible full-time staff and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Occupational Therapist License Required
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Reliable transportation
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in patients’ homes
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
• WellSky experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive OT evaluations
• Develop and update individualized plans of care
• Assess functional limitations and barriers to independence
• Address activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and meal preparation
• Provide therapeutic activities to improve functional performance
• Assess home safety and fall risks; recommend adaptive equipment and modifications
• Provide training in safe transfers and functional mobility
• Develop home programs based on patient goals
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
• Complete reassessments and discharge planning
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary home health team
• Complete accurate and timely documentation using WellSky
