Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking warm, dependable substitute teachers to support mixed-age classrooms (0–6) on an on-call basis. No formal Montessori training required—we provide orientation and onboarding training.

This role is ideal for flexible, part-time work that makes a meaningful impact on young learners. You’ll cover multiple classrooms as needed, contributing to a calm, engaging learning atmosphere and helping maintain continuity when regular teachers are out.

Qualifications

• TB test result negative within the last 12 months.
• Valid state background check.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor.
• Passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency across activities.
• Assist with daily routines and classroom activities across mixed-age groups.
• Help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care.
• Model patience, professionalism, and kindness in every interaction.
