No formal Montessori training is required; orientation includes training to help you thrive. Expected qualities include patience, clear communication, and a genuine passion for early childhood learning.

Qualifications

• No Montessori training required; training provided during orientation/onboarding.
• This is an on-call, as-needed position.
• Supports multiple classrooms with children ages 0–6.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor.
• Passion for working with young children.
• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Valid state background check.
• Recent experience with children ages 0–6 is encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency.
• Assist with daily routines and classroom activities across mixed-age groups.
• Help create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for children.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure smooth transitions and continuity of care.
• Model patience, professionalism, and kindness in every interaction.
