Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking a friendly Substitute Teacher to support our mixed-age classrooms (0–6) on an on-call basis. No formal Montessori training required; training provided during onboarding, orientation, and ongoing support.

This role offers flexible hours and a chance to build experience with young children in a caring, nurturing environment. You’ll step into classrooms as needed, assist with routines, and help maintain a calm, engaging atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Negative TB test within the last 12 months.
• Valid state background check.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Warm, friendly, and dependable demeanor.
• Passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency.
• Assist with daily routines and classroom activities across mixed-age groups.
