Job summary

Cherry Health in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician (I/II/III) for PRN / On-Call coverage. The technician will assist dispensing, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with licensing standards.

Under supervision, responsibilities include preparing prescriptions, conducting medication calculations, and staying updated with policy changes while supporting pharmacy operations and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Minimum of three months of Pharmacy Technician or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Prepare prescriptions in accordance with pharmacy law and standards.
• Participate in team meetings and keep technician manuals updated.
• Identify and remove expired medications from stock to ensure safety.
