Job summary

Cherry Health in Grand Rapids, Michigan, seeks a reliable, licensed Pharmacy Technician I/II/III (PRN / On-Call) to join our team and provide coverage during scheduled and unscheduled staffing absences.

Under a licensed pharmacist's supervision, the technician will assist in dispensing, safe storage, and distribution of drugs and devices, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure compliance with all laws and organizational policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Michigan Pharmacy Technician license required.
• Minimum of three months of Pharmacy Technician or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties assigned by a licensed pharmacist or dispensing prescriber.
• Complete training to gain basic knowledge of pharmacy operations, drug therapies, medication calculations, and preparation of medications for patient use.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure documentation is up-to-date.
• Prepare prescriptions in compliance with pharmacy law and practice standards.
• Participate in meetings and maintain the technician manual for training and quick reference.
