Job summary

St. David's is seeking an on-call Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy to children with a range of communication and feeding needs. Primary age group 12 months to 8 years; opportunities to cover across Harman Center, Minnetonka, and Harley Hopkins sites.

Requirements include a Master's in Speech-Language Pathology, CCC from ASHA, Minnesota license (or in process). Flexible hours and collaborative team with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Master's in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• ASHA CCC certification required.
• Minnesota SLP license (or in process) required.
• Knowledge of pediatric speech-language deficits and access to resources.
• Understanding payer sources and prior authorization procedures.
• Ability to apply knowledge to clinical practice.
• Maintain child/parent confidentiality.
• Team player with positive attitude and conflict-resolution skills.
• Time management and organization skills.
• Basic word processing skills.
• Excellent communication and empathy for families.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled and medically necessary speech-language therapy to children with varied needs.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other providers to maximize outcomes.
• Complete timely documentation.
• With extended coverage, may conduct evaluations, treatment plans, service entries and parent education/home programming.
