Job summary

Fairview Health Services seeks a dynamic Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our collaborative flexible workforce team. The role includes pediatrics, with a focus on feeding services, and requires collaboration with patients and families to deliver safe, effective care across multiple Twin Cities locations.

The position offers full benefits, 0.8 FTE (up to 64 hours per pay period), and a pathway for mentorship and clinical development within a renowned academic health system.

Qualifications

• ASHA Certification required as standard credential for speech-language pathology practice.
• Minnesota state SLP license must be current or in CFY/licensure progress as applicable.
• BLS from American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• CFY pathway requires active temporary Minnesota license and ASHA membership.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations in collaboration with patients and families.
• Develop individualized plan of care with measurable outcomes.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team for patient care.
• Document progress and communicate discharge plans.
• Provide patient and family education and support.
• Maintain accurate billing and coding per department standards.
