Job summary

Guidepost Montessori is seeking an on-call Substitute Teacher to support multiple classrooms serving children ages 0–6. No formal Montessori training is required, as training is provided during orientation. The role offers flexible, part-time hours and opportunities to advance to full-time Assistant Teacher positions.

You’ll join a nurturing environment focused on calm, engaging learning and continuity of care across mixed-age groups, collaborating with staff to ensure smooth transitions.

Qualifications

• TB test negative within the last 12 months
• Valid state background check
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Warm, friendly and dependable demeanor
• Passion for working with young children

Responsibilities

• Step into classrooms as needed to support children and maintain consistency
• Assist with daily routines and activities across mixed-age groups
