Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Montana is seeking an experienced LPN Nurse Manager to provide nursing care within the scope of practice and oversee daily operations in accordance with standards, physician orders, and center policies.

The role requires timely medication administration, coordination of treatments, patient and family education, and occasional rounds with physicians. Long-term care experience and PointClickCare charting are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as LPN in state.
• One-year nursing management experience preferred.
• Long-term care experience required.
• PointClickCare charting experience.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Infection Control Manual.
• Participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for patient identification and monitoring.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, admits, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely and per facility policy.
• Administers treatments timely and per facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders per Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
