Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care within scope of practice to meet patient needs per standards and physician orders.
• Demonstrates knowledge and uses the Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in Quality Improvement program and uses the Quality Life Manual for patient placement and monitoring.
• Notifies departments of patient changes and conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications and treatments timely according to facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
