Job summary

Sweetwater Care in Montana seeks an experienced LPN supervisor to provide nursing care within scope of practice and ensure patient needs are met under center policies and guidelines.

The role requires current LPN licensure in the state, preferred one year nursing management experience, and long-term care and Point Click Care charting experience to support quality care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Licensed as LPN in state
• One year nursing management experience preferred
• Long term care experience
• Point Click Care charting experience

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of Infection Control Manual.
• Understands, participates, and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses Quality Life Manual to identify, place, and monitor patients in appropriate programs.
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admissions, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications promptly and according to facility policy.
• Administers treatments promptly and according to facility policy.
• Receives, transcribes, and carries out physician orders, if allowed by the Nurse Practice Act.
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
