Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of the Infection Control Manual.
• Participates in and assists Quality Improvement Program.
• Uses Quality Life Manual for patient identification, placement, and monitoring.
• Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge).
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Administers medications timely and per policy.
• Administers treatments timely and per policy.
• Receives/transcribes/acts on physician orders as allowed by Nurse Practice Act.
• M conducts rounds with physicians when necessary.
