Job summary

GIS Field Services, Inc. is seeking reliable Mortgage Field Inspectors to perform property inspections for mortgage companies across Michigan. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with flexible part-time or full-time schedules and weekly pay.

No license or certifications required; prior experience is a plus. Inspectors travel locally, manage their own schedule, and report on property occupancy, condition, and utility status using a mobile app (InspectorADE).

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle insured to travel in your territory.
• Smartphone (iPhone or Android).
• Computer with internet access.
• Printer and basic office supplies.
• Ability to obtain a Shield ID (Aspen Grove ABC#).
• HUD/InspectorKeys (if onboarded).
• Voltstick.
• Selfie stick.
• Strong time management, attention to detail, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct property inspections for existing mortgage loans.
• Determine occupancy status (occupied or vacant).
• Photograph and document property condition.
• Deliver door notices and verify utility status.
• Complete reports using a mobile app (InspectorADE).
• Communicate regularly with the Inspection Relations Coordinator.
