This position involves providing general medical care under the direction of a licensed provider in an outpatient clinic. Responsibilities include obtaining patient vitals, administering medications, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient vitals and medical history.
• Explain prescribed procedures and treatments.
• Ensure tests are performed accurately and on time.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Draw blood and prepare labs.
• Perform laboratory tests and equipment maintenance.
• Respond to lab messages and callback requests.
• Perform drug screening procedures.
• Document and administer patient immunizations.
• Conduct physician referrals and service pre-certifications.
• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation.
