Job summary

• Experience with receiving and stocking processes.
• Ability to count and verify quantities against orders.
• Ability to record and forward receiving documents.
• Knowledge of stockroom procedures and inventory controls.

Responsibilities

• Receive, count, weigh and check items against approved purchase orders.
• Record quantity received on PO receiving copy and forward completed documents.
• Place items in stockroom locations and organize by commodity/size.
• Assist in end-of-month inventories and monitor stock levels for adequacy.
• Maintain security and sanitation in storerooms; limit access to authorized personnel.
