Responsibilities

• Organize and coordinate an effective receiving operation.
• Organize and coordinate an effective storage operation.
• Issue and ship items; select and assemble items for issuance/shipment based on priority, type, mode of transportation, destination, and transaction.
• Assist in inventories by counting items and maintaining tally listings and inventory documents.
• Operate automated material handling and identification equipment to move, stack and position material (e.g., high-rise automated storage and retrieval vehicles).
• Perform material handling duties safely and comply with safety rules and regulations.
• Safeguard material, items and equipment, and maintain records and documents.
