Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification must be current.
• BLS for healthcare providers preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Performs screening and diagnostic mammography exams per department protocol.
• Maintains ARRT or modality-specific competency in all clinical functions.
• Ensures proper patient identification and prepares patient for the exam.
• Operates mammographic equipment to produce high-quality images.
• Adheres to radiation safety guidelines and maintains a safe environment.
• Provides patient education and addresses concerns.
• Completes all required documentation accurately.
