Job summary

Deer Oaks is seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to join an integrated treatment team serving older adults and disabled individuals in long-term care facilities. You will conduct in-person assessments and deliver individual, family, and group therapy, along with behavioral management services in your local community.

The role emphasizes geriatric-focused care, with accredited CEUs and ongoing mentorship to support clinical and diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed LMFT required.
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based psychological services, including screening, assessment, and treatment planning.
• Manage psychotherapy intakes and treatment plans.
• Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team within Long-Term Care facilities.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy along with behavioral management services.
• Adhere to ethical principles and professional guidelines.
