Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team throughout Hampton Roads. Compensation ranges from $37 to $39 per hour with same-day or next-day pay.

Flexible scheduling and local staffing coordinators are available from 5 AM to 11:30 PM. Requirements include an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, current BLS/CPR, and a recent PPD.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license is required.
• At least 1 year of facility-based nursing experience is required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
• PPD within the last year is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
