Job summary

Mercy is seeking a flexible Licensed Practical Nurse for the GIG program to float among Mercy Hospital facilities in Missouri. Provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision, coordinating with other departments and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.

Choose day or night shifts; no weekend, holiday, or shift requirement. Requirements include high school diploma or GED, graduation from an accredited LPN program, active LPN license in the hiring state, and BLS; IV

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license in the hiring state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS as applicable to department.
• IV certification required.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float between Mercy Hospital facilities as assigned.
• Provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision.
• Coordinate with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
• Assist with shift scheduling and patient coverage as part of the Gig Nursing Program.
