Job summary

Mercy is seeking a flexible Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Gig Nursing Program as a GIG LPN. You may day or night shift and will float among Mercy facilities in Missouri, with no guaranteed hours and the possibility of last-minute shifts.

You must have a high school diploma or GED, be a graduate of an accredited LPN program, maintain an active LPN license, and have BLS. Epic experience is a plus, and IV certification is required for some units.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; licensure maintained in hiring state.
• Experience: 1 year bedside LPN Med Surg; 2 years for ED/ICU.
• IV certification required; BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float between Mercy Hospital facilities as assigned.
• Provide LPN bedside nursing care in Med Surg and other designated units.
• Comply with Gig Nursing Program requirements and scheduling.
