Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the GIG program, floating across Mercy Hospital facilities in Missouri. The role features variable shifts (4, 8, or 12 hours) with no guaranteed hours and some cancellation risk.

You will provide nursing care under RN supervision, coordinate with departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality while meeting licensure requirements and BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• One year of recent bedside LPN experience to work Med Surg; two years for ED/ICU/MS specialties.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; current LPN license in hiring state.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coaches coordination of patient care with other departments; maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
