Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy program or phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification as defined by state regulations may be required.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and receive biological specimens and ensure proper entry into the laboratory information system.
• Prepare samples for analytical testing and distribute them to the appropriate analytical area.
• Perform pre- and post-analytical testing as assigned and follow established policies and procedures.
• Adhere to regulatory and accreditation requirements and the Code of Conduct.
• Maintain flexibility to travel to multiple locations, including mobile phlebotomy facilities and in-office sites.
