Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing is seeking a part-time On Call/Flex Laboratory Assistant - Micro in Des Moines, IA. The role supports daily sample assaying, testing, and data recording, with emphasis on accuracy and safety in a busy laboratory.

Candidates should have a High School diploma and the ability to follow SOPs, maintain logs, and work with a team in a regulatory environment that prioritizes quality and compliance. 15-20 hours weekly with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma with 0-3 years experience.
• ISO17025 familiarity preferred.
• Ability to follow Quality System documents and SOPs.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant to responsibilities.
• Follow all quality, health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Assist in the daily assaying of samples and perform testing.
• Maintain neat records and input data into eLIMS.
• Promote a safe, clean laboratory environment and communicate with team.
