Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker at UT Austin to support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization across food production and service areas. You will clean equipment, surfaces, and floors, restock supplies, and assist with setup and break-down tasks in a dynamic campus environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, including basic concepts of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies, such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
