Job summary

Pendleton County School District Central Office in Falmouth, Kentucky seeks a Substitute Instructional Assistant I to support a certified teacher by aiding instruction, monitoring progress and assisting with classroom operations.

Responsibilities include tutoring, lesson prep, test administration, behavior monitoring, clerical duties, and coordinating with staff. This is a part-time, non-exempt role requiring engagement with students and families as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 48 college credits with minimum 2.25 GPA.
• Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment Certificate.
• Part-Time availability.
• Ability to assist with instruction and record progress.

Responsibilities

• Tutor individuals or small groups, reinforce instruction and maintain progress records.
• Prepare and organize lessons, administer and score tests per guidelines; assess English proficiency.
• Monitor and report student behavior and progress; supervise labs as needed.
• Perform routine clerical duties; maintain attendance and classroom records.
• Provide teacher support by setting up work areas, displays and AV equipment; distribute supplies.
