Qualifications

• Kentucky teaching certification or 64 college credits from an accredited university/college.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional leadership within school, community and education to improve student learning.
• Demonstrate content knowledge within assigned discipline(s).
• Plan, implement and assess instruction to develop students' abilities and problem-solving.
• Assess student learning using tools aligned with Kentucky's assessments; communicate results to parents and staff.
• Create a safe, productive learning climate supporting achievement.
• Evaluate teaching effectiveness based on student outcomes.
• Use technology to support instruction, data access and collaboration.
• Participate in required training and professional growth activities.
• Utilize community resources and communicate regularly with families.
• Adhere to school, district, state and federal policies.
• Participate in school activities as assigned by administrators.
• Maintain records per district policies and laws.
• Provide instruction aligned with program requirements and standards.
• Serve on ARC for eligibility determinations and IEP development.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Superintendent and Principal.
