Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Westford, MA is seeking an In-Store Shopper to prepare customer orders for delivery and pickup across groceries, produce, meat, dairy, and more. The role requires flexibility for weekends, early mornings, evenings and holidays.

You will use handheld devices to fulfill orders, maintain accuracy, learn product knowledge, and support customer service standards. Shoppers must be 18+, English proficient, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Sufficient English language proficiency to prepare and shop orders.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills online orders efficiently, accurately and with a sense of urgency using handheld technology and/or fixed devices.
• Ensure product and order accuracy through meticulous verification and quality control processes.
• Learn and apply product knowledge, customer service standards, and store operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Keep staging area organized and free of clutter.
• Handle in-store and online order returns and pickups.
• Comply with government regulations such as age verification requirements for restricted items.
• Assist with customer inquiries and provide store information.
• Maintain knowledge of product and promotional events.
• Maintain a positive work environment.
• Communicate clearly, collaboratively and courteously.
• Attend all meetings assigned by Leadership, including daily huddles.
• Support company program and initiatives, inclusive of varied checkout options, store formats and all product assortment, tools, and technology.
• Maintains operational standards including but not limited to safety and store security protocols.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store or company leadership.
