Job summary

SYNERGY HomeCare of Central IL is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide one-on-one care in clients’ homes across central Illinois. You’ll choose shifts and clients that fit your life while earning competitive, skill-based pay.

Baseline requirements include a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and ability to meet background checks. We offer on-going training, orientation, and opportunities for advancement in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 17 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and automobile insurance.
• Must complete IDPH background check requirements.
• Must be able to follow care plans and instructions independently.
• Must demonstrate strong organization and time-management skills.
• Must accurately document services and observations.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds and perform caregiving tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and one-on-one social interaction with clients.
• Assist with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Help clients with mobility, transfers, and walking assistance.
• Prepare meals and assist with eating when needed.
• Perform light housekeeping to maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Provide medication reminders and manage basic routines.
• Assist with errands as needed for client care.
• Observe changes in condition and report them promptly.
• Deliver dependable care by arriving on time and staying for scheduled shifts.
