Job summary

S & S Home Health Care Agency in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to provide in-home support to clients who need daily living assistance.

You will help with personal care, mobility, light housekeeping, meal prep, and monitor health changes while following care plans and maintaining client records; CPR/First Aid preferred and reliable transportation required.

Qualifications

• Certified HHA or equivalent training (as required by state regulations).
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.).
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
