Job summary

S & S Home Health Care Agency in New Jersey is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) to deliver in-home care and support daily living activities for clients living at home.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, light housekeeping, meals, and provide companionship, while following care plans and maintaining client records. Certification and CPR are desirable, and reliable transportation is important.

Qualifications

• Certified HHA or equivalent training as required by state regulations.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks, etc.).
• Perform light housekeeping duties and meal preparation.
• Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, and needs.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate client records.
