The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, at least six months cash handling experience, strong interpersonal skills, accuracy, and the ability to work flexible hours Monday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least six months cash handling experience.
• Strong customer relations and interpersonal skills.
• Typing, PC skills, and 10-key calculator proficiency.
• Ability to handle large quantities of currency and stay accurate.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a cash drawer including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments and cashing checks.
• Maintain accurate details of each transaction.
• Prepare daily general ledger entries.
• Perform vault functions, as necessary.
• Assist with daily balancing of coin machine.
• Assist customers with account or product inquiries.
• Balance teller drawer and verify posted transactions.
• Promote the bank's products and cross-sell at every opportunity.
• Solve customer problems and maintain positive relations with customers.
