Job summary

Optum is seeking a Home Health Aide/CNA for in-home patient care, dedicated to maintaining the patient’s physical and emotional well-being. You’ll work directly with patients and families in home settings, providing essential personal care and designated health-related services.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, CPR (preferred or able to obtain within 90 days), and 6+ months of home care experience, with flexibility to work varied hours in a compassionate, patient-centered

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, or access to public transportation.
• Preferred CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• May provide or assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing, hair care, denture care, nail care, skin care, and transfers.
• Report observations of the client’s condition to the agency director or accounts manager.
• Drive safely, comply with traffic regulations, and wear a seat belt during business travel.
• Assist with household tasks directly essential to clients’ personal care.
• Function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client.
