Food City Fort Payne is seeking a Food Service Associate to deliver friendly, efficient service while decorating cakes, cupcakes and cookies. You will help keep display cases neat, manage inventory, and handle telephone cake orders in a fast-paced food service area.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience a plus, but not required.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, courteous customer service to support the mission: Run the Best Store in Town.
• Decorate specialty cakes, cupcakes, and cookies; maintain cake and cookie cases.
• Take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes and ensure timely delivery readiness.
• Maintain inventory, rotate and date Food Service products, and keep work areas neat and clean.
