Job summary

Target is hiring a Starbucks Barista in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. You will handcraft beverages and foods to meet recipe standards, greet guests, and ensure a friendly and streamlined experience across all Starbucks service points.

Ideal candidates bring a welcoming attitude, comfort with handheld scanners and POS systems, and the ability to multitask while maintaining strict safety and cleanliness standards. Training is provided, and shifts may include nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous Starbucks/food service experience preferred, but not required.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members.
• Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot.
• Attention to detail and follow multi-step processes.
• Capable of remaining focused in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments, greet guests, assist, and thank them.
• Help guests find what they need and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• Maintain an inviting dining area and a clean, safe Starbucks space.
• Produce hand crafted beverages and food to specifications on recipe cards.
• Follow food safety requirements and sign off on related tasks during shifts.
• Support Drive Up and OPU operations to fulfill digital orders accurately.
