Job summary

ABX Air's OPS Manager of Maintenance Control provides strategic leadership and oversight to guarantee airworthiness, regulatory compliance, and safe operation of ABX aircraft. The role demands seven years in aircraft maintenance operations and five years in supervision, plus an FAA A&P license and proficiency with Excel, Word, SABRE, and Maintenix CMMS.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of progressive, hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance operations.
• Five (5) years of formal supervisory or managerial experience in an aircraft maintenance environment.
• Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word), SABRE, and Maintenix CMMS.
• Ability to work highly flexible hours (nights, weekends, holidays) and perform under high-stress conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Maintenance Control operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and leadership.
• Coordinate maintenance events with Managers and Controllers to maximize fleet utilization.
• Monitor real-time status boards and AOG boards with current data.
