Job summary

Orbit Infusion Solutions is seeking a Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to work as an Independent Contractor in Southern California. You will administer infusion therapies at patients' homes or infusion suites, manage IV access, and monitor patients throughout therapy, while educating patients and families.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of nursing experience, active RN license (State or Compact), and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (State or Compact).
• Current BLS Certification.
• Professional liability insurance required.
• Minimum 3–5 years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer specialty infusion therapies in patients' homes and infusion suites.
• Start and maintain peripheral IV access.
• Assess patients before, during, and after infusion therapy.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and intervene appropriately.
• Provide patient and caregiver education.
• Collaborate with specialty pharmacies, physicians, and care teams.
• Deliver safe, compassionate, patient-centered care.
